The AMS 7th Annual Cobrathon Drive runs through the third week of February 2022. Our goal is to raise $15,000 so that the PTA can continue to fund the programs on which our kids rely.We are suggesting that families contribute $100 per child to our school’s PTA, but please know that any amount is appreciated! AMS relies on PTA funding for some of its most essential programming. The PTA funds new library books, art supplies, field trips, Chromebooks, and other classroom technology, one-on-one writing coaches for all 8th graders as they work on their iSearch project, Cobra Tutoring, teacher appreciation, school clubs, assemblies, and much more.
In addition, the Covid-19 pandemic has increased the need for PTA support. The PTA has been purchasing and distributing KN-95 masks to help keep students safe in the classroom and providing speaker education nights that address parents’ needs surrounding problems that have arisen over the pandemic.
